Three routes to see Madrid
The Historical Route takes you through Madrid’s most monumental side, with stops near places such as the Royal Palace, the Temple of Debod, Gran Vía and the Literary Quarter. The Modern Route runs through areas such as Castellana, Serrano, Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and the Sorolla Museum. The Contemporary Route offers a more dynamic view of the city, with places such as the Bullring, Malasaña and Puerta de Alcalá.

The ‘essential’ ticket is valid for 48 consecutive hours from the time it is first used; in other words, if you use it on a Monday at 10:00 am, it will remain valid until Wednesday at 10:00 am. During this time, you can hop on and off the Big Bus Madrid buses as often as you like.

Our full tours last approximately: 75 minutes for the HISTORICAL ROUTE, 70 minutes for the MODERN ROUTE and 75 minutes for the CURRENT ROUTE. Please note that the duration of the tour is subject to traffic and road closures.

You can buy your tickets online via official websites and distributors, from our staff on board the buses at each of our official stops, as well as from all our local partners, such as newsagents, souvenir shops or hotel receptions throughout the city centre.

Yes, there are tickets for children aged between 5 and 15. Children under 4 can travel for free, but must sit on their carer’s lap when the service is full. Pushchairs and prams must be stored on the lower deck. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
